The Need Is Closer Than You Think
Lubbock is the pediatric oncology hub for West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Families drive from Amarillo, Midland, Roswell, and beyond — some more than three hours each way — to get their child the care they need. They come for appointments, for treatments, for weeks at a time. And most of them have nowhere that feels like home when the hospital day is done. That is the gap Courage Cottages exists to fill.
Our Heart and Purpose
Courage Cottages is a sanctuary built on five core pillars: Courage, Presence, Dignity, Community, and Hope. By providing safe, warm housing for families navigating pediatric cancer, we ensure they can remain present at their child’s side. We honor their bravery with a space of dignity and a supportive community, keeping hope alive throughout every step of their medical journey.
